What Is Windows into the West?

Windows into the West is my lifelong painting and research project exploring how the American West became history, art, and legend.

Each chapter focuses on a different part of the Western story. From Wild West shows and early rodeo to cowboys, outlaws, Native nations, settlement, exploration, and the artists who shaped how we remember it.

Through paintings, historic photographs, objects, patterns, travel, and research, I am building the story one chapter at a time.
